From the first lit-grille prototype to a full-range communication interface — the evolution of SMARTFACE.
In Q4 2021, LITCON360 ver.1 (SMARTFACE 1) was integrated into an electric vehicle's grille prototype. Despite tight space and limited pixel resolution, it effectively communicated vehicle status, road conditions, and other critical information — proving the viability of future mobility lighting and prompting MOPLAT to advance LITCON360 into a comprehensive integrated solution.
In Q1 2023, SMARTFACE 2 was developed and unveiled as the full-range LITCON360 solution — transforming an electric vehicle's entire grille area into a communication interface.




A compact version of LitCon360 that delivers diverse interaction and visual content within the emblem format — one of an OEM's core branding elements.
The core concept introduced in SMARTFACE is faithfully ported into a compact format, engineered to deliver effective communication even within a limited area. The demo was built in collaboration with a global Mini-LED supplier, applying their Mini-LED technology.





A next-generation concept unveiled in Q2 2024 — blending hardware design with smart lighting to go beyond a traditional brake lamp and elevate the mobility experience.



SMART-CHMSL, too, began as an advanced concept design and was completed as a fully working demonstrator built with automotive-grade components. With real ISELED integrated, it runs not as on-screen rendering but as a result that operates in a true vehicle-grade environment — proving MOPLAT's ability to deliver.
